Governance

Wickiup Water District is a Domestic Water Supply District goverened under ORS 264. We are a "special district" created and based on the laws passed by the State Legislature. A special district is created by members of the community to provide an essential local services and infrastructure for a specific need, such as, fire protection, parks and recreation, power, and water. Special districts are accountable to the people they serve and consist of locally elected or appointed board members. Nearly every Oregonian receives a service from a special district.

Board Meetings

The Board meets the second Wednesday of every month at 6:00 p.m. The public is welcome and invited to attend.

Board Members

Wickiup Water District is governed by a five-member Board of Directors, elected by the public, to serve four-year terms. To qualify as a board member, you must reside in the district, be at least 18-years of age, and be registered to vote.

Our district is dedicated to operating in a transparent manner, and posts relevant financial and operational documents to our site as they become available.
